For now, the Bulgarian authorities refuse official information. In April, Krasimir Kamenov-Karo was announced as a wanted man with a red notice by Interpol, writes Mediapool. In March, Kamenov was charged in absentia by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office as a guarantor of the murder of Lyubomir Ivanov, a former employee of the Ministry of the Interior, who was conspicuously shot in Sofia at the beginning of 2022.However, Karro was then accused of being an instigator. This happened after the prosecutor's office announced that in the home of another defendant, it found flash drives with recordings of conversations that revealed a "conspiracy" to overthrow the chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev. The recordings were found in Dilian Georgiev's home.
Former banker Tsvetan Vasilev, BIRD journalist Dimitar Stoyanov and several other people were attached to the conspiracy. No charges have been reported in this case. It is against an organized crime group for influence peddling.
