Red carpet welcome: Russian delegation arrives in North Korea
A senior military official waited for Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu
A Russian delegation led by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has arrived in North Korea. It will take part in celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Victory Day in Pyongyang.
Along with a delegation from China, the Russian guests are the first government officials to visit North Korea since the pandemic. Moscow released a short video showing Shoigu being greeted by a North Korean senior military officer on a red carpet at the airport.
